“And it came to pass on the way, at the encampment, that the LORD met [Moses] and sought to kill him” (Exodus 4:24). Why was God about to kill Moses that night, when it was God who sent Moses back to Egypt? Because before Moses started for Egypt, he still hadn’t met his spiritual leadership obligation for his own sons.
