When God calls us to a task, we tend to first look around at what we lack, rather than look up to Him for provision. In this two-part Bible Study, Jesus feeds the five thousand by miraculously multiplying five loaves and two fish. Likewise, for Christians today, our God still provides through seemingly impossible ways.

Christ, our provision: Jesus feeds 5,000 by miraculously multiplying five loaves and two fish (part 1)
In a display of His supernatural provision, Jesus feeds 5,000 men by breaking “only” five loaves and two fishes. It’s easy to look at the “only” in what we see or have, and miss what is available to us through Jesus. It’s not about what we can do with what we have—but Who we know and what He can do through us.
Growing in Christ: spiritual growth truths taken from Colossians 1:9-12
At the point of salvation, we are fully in Christ. Yet, we are to continue growing in Christ. As followers of Christ, we are called to live a life worthy and pleasing to the Lord; living as bond-servants of Christ who follow and yield to Him obediently as productive workers in His kingdom.
What caused the darkness over all the land when Jesus was crucified?
Some have suggested it was, perhaps, a solar eclipse that caused darkness over all the land for 3 hours during Jesus crucifixion. However, Jesus was crucified on the first day of Passover, which always occurs under a full moon. And it’s impossible, within natural laws, for a solar eclipse to occur during a full moon.
